Rules of Shades of Love

Consent is Key

If you consent to something, you agree to do it or to allow it to be done. Ignoring consent is not allowed. Animals can NOT give consent

At times what is normal to one person may not be normal with the other.
"The freckled woman danced up on a man at the dance club."
To most people this is normal act at a dance club, but according to the man, the woman didn't have consent because she has freckles. According to the man, "that is not a woman because don't have freckles." "i only consent to (REAL) women" That is his own personal norm.

THIS IS NOT A CONSENT ISSUE. Further more any member that would discriminate anyone on a condition they was born with will be banned.

No Personal Ads/Solicitation

no personal ads such as a lonely hearts column. also no asking members for money. or posting ads for a business

No Spam

Do Not send unwanted mass messages, usually as advertising.

LGBTQ+ Safe Space

SOL is community where people can openly discus controversial subjects without fear of verbal or physical retaliation. We can disagree and still be friends.

USE Peoples Preferred Pronouns

We use preferred pronouns and it is ok to make a mistake. We all make mistakes. Be sure to correct your mistake immediately. SOL will not tolerate constant miss gendering. Furthermore dead naming a person will get you kicked immediately.

Transgender Women are Woman.

Transgender Men are Men

NBs are Them

Do Not treat these folks with the mentality of less then cis or you will be banned

Confidentiality

All Scenes, Play Space Locations, Private Sexual Orientation, Kinks of Members and other Obvious Private Information is CONFIDENTIAL.

Acceptance is required, BUT participation in any activity is totally optional!

SOL is built on the foundation of acceptance, but you are never required to join in on our events

This is not a "hook up" group

This is a group to spread acceptance in the area first. We also happen to do kinky activities. Its a group to openly discuss our desires and finding others that share the same joys they find in the bedroom and beyond. its not a group to just find someone to fuck. Its a safe community that gives you a space to meet people inside and even outside the lgbt community at meet ups.

Must be 18+

all members must be over 18 due the the conversations being of an adult theme. At times we may also have a public meet up at a 21+ bar. Also at times we may goto a place that is kid friendly and members can invite the kids. Remember we are a lgbt acceptance group first and a kink group second.

We support sex workers

In many spaces on the internet and in public sex workers are frowned upon. Many of these people are working very hard to just make a living. JessiJax (Founder of SOL) is a full time sex worker along with many other members. Sex work is work. Sex workers are not all escorts. many of them do online work. If work involves sex then its sex work.

Treat Everyone with Respect and Dignity

Treat others like you would want yourself treated. We encourage our members to love each other and inspire the world to love and be themselves

Most IMPORTANTY Enjoy Yourself and The Community

Actions taken for rule violators

Warnings

Warnings may be given for minor offences determined by the administration. 3 Strike Program. 3 Warnings is at the least is a Suspension and at the most Termination

Suspension

This is a suspension from SOL for a determined time set by the administration. When on suspension you may be evaluated for Permanent Timeout

Bans/Termination

When a member is Terminated, a member is unfortunately removed from the group and not welcome at any SOL events. Termination is the last thing any one in the administration wants to do to a member. We hope this former member takes the time to reflect on themselves and their actions. If the banned member shows up to a public event, members are encouraged to converse with the banned member.

The Administration Never wants to terminate anyone. It is a failure to educate that falls on our behalf. No one is perfect. Safety of our members is the top priority and unfortunately some fall between the cracks.
